i'm in the best mood

i had so much fun last night! i haven't been out partying on a weeknight in like 2 weeks, so i forgot how happy it makes me! (even though i get way too little sleep).

went to manahatta yesterday - it's one of my friend jordan's parties. one of our friends from miami, alex (aka spikey), was in town for the night. he's friends with rey, richard, and jordan (richard, jordan, and spikey all went to cornell together). so we hung out with spikey and jordan last night. the music was AWESOME! rupa, you should have come. you would have loved it! they played really good hip-hop. and there were quite a few brothers around, too ;) anyways, it was fun to have a miami guy to dance with, too. looks like spikey developed a crush on me after seeing me again for like 2 minutes. he's a really fun and sweet guy, but definitely nothing more than just a friend. they're all going to cornell today for homecoming weekend, but they want to hang out again sunday night when they're back in the city.

oh yea - and diets suck! jacks and i were determined to stick to our diet and not touch alcohol, so we started out with sugar-free redbull. then we had a diet coke. then we were dancing, and it was getting hot. . .and come on, you can't be in a club with really good hip-hop and not drink. so. . .we gave in (yea, we all know i'm spineless). rupa, we had your drink! diet coke and jack - supposedly, jack's the best alcohol for dieters cause it doesn't have too much carbs.

oh well, we're doing the jackie and julie version of the south beach diet :)

oh yea - and the university of miami pulled off the greatest comeback in college football last night! they were playing like ass and losing by like 17 in the first half. then they come out and score like 3 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter, and then come back from behind and score the winning touchdown with like 1 min left in the game! i know you guys could care less about all of this, but i have to get all this excitement out of my system somehow!

oh yea, and my bro and annie (his gf) get in today at 6! hopefully i'll manage to squeeze in a nap somewhere . . .
