allergies and my wonderful dad

you would think that as an allergist he should know. the problem with food allergies if it isnt the same thing every time - like every time he eats eggs he gets sick, so then he did a test for egg white and egg yolk and he is allergic to both of them - that is easy. for me it happened 3 times when i ate korean food and now with italian. so the only way to test of it is if i go see him like every day and do a food test for each food with like 3 hour spaces between them to see what it is that causes it...seems too laborious and his guess is that im either allergic to arugula (which can just happen one day, the fact that i wasnt allergic to it last week wouldnt matter) and then the other thing is the arugula i ate could have not been washed properly...

i think thats the worst thing about being a doctor - knowing that you cure and help sooo many people but you cant seem to help your own daughter. i love my dad and i hate that this worries him so much! i almost dont want to call and tell him when im sick but i also never know what to do! it was nice to have satyan around :)

jules - im glad joe cancelled on her too! it was bothering me that he would make plans with her on a weeknight!!! i wanted to ask you but she was always around on tues and i wasnt home yesterday :)

i dont think im leaving early today, we'll see, prob around 530 or so - go to the gym and have a lowkey night at home with dev and his bro...
