hello ladies
i'm here and i'm exhausted after yet another 7am flight. miami was so much fun. it was rainy and crappy all weekend, though, so i didn't get much sun. it's so nice here today - warm and sunny out. i'm actually glad to be back! well, not glad to be back at work, but oh well. . .
i'm so excited about the heat game tonight. i know none of you really care about basketball, but if miami wins tonight they go on to the nba finals. if they lose, the season's over. sooo. . .big game. especially since one of our best players got injured last thursday, so it's still uncertain if he will play today.
hmm, i don't know if i have any exciting stories from the weekend. i saw peter saturday night. he came clubbing with us for mari's birthday. i didn't really hang out with him at the club much. he was driving mari home at the end of the night, and i was going home with mari (because we live close to each other, so there was no point in making jackie go out of her way to take me home), so peter ended up driving me home saturday night with mari passed out drunk in the front seat. it was the longest ride in the world. we didn't say more than like 2 words to each other. oh well.
jackie and i succeeded in getting mari wasted for her birthday. she was way too sober after we'd been in the club for over an hour, so we started buying her shots. mari's the only person i know who can get drunk off of lemon drops. those shots are so girly and not strong!
anyways, i have a ton of work to do but little desire to actually do any of it. blah. rupa - cheer up! megan - how's the apt hunt?
