mice and apartment hunting

ok, i'm looking at 4 places tonight - 3 of which are a little more than i want to spend, the last being a perfect price but i think the landlord lives in the building and i haven't looked at the house yet.

as for the mouse, tell jackie suck it up with the traps. next thing you will have are little black specks in your cupboards. these would be what science calls "fecal matter" . . . mouse poop. it will go from nothing to lots. and then you might have the fun of another mouse getting in and babies. just kill it. kill it soon. we had a mouse in our house - he didn't get caught in our traps but he went away at some point so someone got him. i got to empty all of our cupboards and disinfect them because of the mouse poo and throw away everything that the mouse looked like he touched. dealing with a dead mouse once is way better than dealing with a living mouse for a while.
