i called the realtor tuesday before i went to work and left a message. he left a message for me sometime during the work day tuesday. first of all, call me back monday. my check is sitting on your desk, i can't be that easy to forget about. second, i think the reason he didn't call me was that he didn't do anything. the message he left said exactly the same thing "the landlord extended the lease until august" that just sounds like he never specifically asked the landlord. then he was like i was hoping to rent one of the landlord's other properties (which i saw with him before) but it was rented out from under me. i'm sorry - am i supposed to feel like you really helped me out? if you were that concerned - you have my deposit check, hold the place for 2 days. if you aren't, then don't make it sound like you are fighting for me.

i emailed a couple of listings i found and got a reply from one so far. the apartment is a little more than i want to spend (it doesn't include heat) but other than that seems good. i'm going to see the places tomorrow at 5.
