but I'm here, alive and working :) I can't wait for this weekend! I'm heading down to miami thursday after work for jackie's birthday. it feels like the last time I was in miami was ages ago! really, it was only at the beginning of june, but I was getting so used to going every few weeks. anyways, it'll be good to see my parents, especially my mom. she's been really down lately because of some family problems back in colombia, so I'm really looking forward to spending time with her.

other than that, there's nothing new and exciting going on in my life. I've just been feeling kind of blah about everything. I hope spending a weekend in miami snaps me out of that. whatever you guys decide about the wine tour is fine with me. sounds like fun :)
