edgar drinking
he'll try a little if i say oh, try this one its good.
mostly, he wants to come along to hang out with the people. he actually got annoyed with some chang's people who were like oh, drink this you HAVE TO drink this! because he thinks the whole drinking thing is an example of pluralist ignorance - that it tastes bad and we are all succumbing to peer pressure that is so deeply ingrained we don't even notice it any more. so, he's in theory open to trying wines that i say are good - only white though - because he believes there has to be one out there he could stand. i think he has convinced himself that they all have an alcohol after taste that he doesn't like.
moral of the story - he'll drink something that someone tells him is work trying as long as he feels they have truly thought about it and he can trust them, but not if he feels they are doing it just to get him to drink.
