megan, how's the new apt? all moved in yet? are you loving it?

hope you all had a nice weekend. my weekend with jackie's cousin in jersey was very nice. relaxing, got some sun, ate tons of fatty food, played with little kids. the ferry wasn't running at all yesterday because of the holiday, so jackie and i woke up at like 5:30 this morning and commuted with her cousin. i'm exhausted right now, i don't know how people can commute every day.

the ride to jersey with joe on friday afternoon was fun. it wasn't awkward or weird - we chatted easily the whole time. it was nice seeing him and talking to him. apparently, he's a party animal now. he told me he'd been out every night last week. looks like all he needed was for me to break up with him so he could start being fun again. anyways, we took the boat over to jersey together, then he drove me to jackie's cousin's house. we talked about going out saturday and sunday nights but something came up so we never met up. then last night he and i went to see the war of the worlds (jackie didn't feel like watching a movie, so she stayed at home). i liked the movie all the way up until the end - i thought the end was totally disappointing.

but anywaysk, i had a good weekend. long weekends always seem too short, though. ugh, time for some coffee. . .
