g'morning!
i didn't get enough sleep last night . . . but i'm still in a good mood :)
gen, courtney and i left early yesterday because we spent the afternoon defrosting a giant -80 freezer. basically i was bent over a freezer, scraping ice and snow chunks with a dust pan and little hand broom for an hour. THEN we had to dispose of the snow/ice that i cleaned out - snow and ice that was filled with all kinds of samples and other crap that had fallen out . . . so you think we could just toss it all in a sink with a strainer. nope, there was also tiny chunks of styrofoam that was big enough to clog a drain, but would go through most bigger strainers - so we melted the ice and scooped it out with strainers meant for mouse spleens - kind of like cleaning a pool only miniature. then we left early and went to the distillery for a pitcher and some appetizers. it was actually really fun (mostly because of the beer and nachos at the end)!
