happy rainy morning

i really really really wish i was in bed right now.

jackie and i went to ciprianis last night for "a drink". well, that one drink turned into something like 10 drinks. we had a fun night. we met an older man who knows one of the members of the executive commitee here at D. E. Shaw, Julius. pretty random. anyways, we had a really fun night. i just wish i could've stayed in bed this morning.

joe met up with us last night to have a drink with us (but he had to leave when we were walking to the bar because he had to catch the last ferry to jersey). he'd been out with clients, so he was all dressed up. he looked really cute! i met some random guy who's a dj at this other bar that we went to. i couldn't remember his name this morning but i remember making fun of it last night. and then i reached into my purse and found his business card. . .his dj name is magneto (or something like that)!

i'm taking the train out to evy's at 6, so i'll probably be at work til 5 or so. rupa: how are you? you've been MIA since yesterday!
