stupid post doc

there is this indian post doc who i think is fed up with the lab and just wants to publish a paper and get out of here. i think she is starting to make everyone else around here want her to just publish a paper and get out of here . . . emphasis on get out of here. i get to recount all of my plates of a previous series of experiments - just to see what the numbers look like . . . so, i signed up on the machine - the fastest one, which also happens to have the scanner. big no no to count on the scanning computer but i don't care, i only signed up for 2 hours first thing in the morning. anagha (the post doc) gets here a couple of minutes ago and is like are you using the computer (um, yeah . . . i'm signed up and the computer is in use) and then she's like are you almost done? actually, i signed up for two hours, the first of which isn't finished. SHOCKING! i signed up for a machine i actually want to use! so, she is attempting to push me off. actually, no - i have every right to be using this computer and you can wait your turn.

oh a completely different note . . . i think i'm going to apply to u of georgia . . .
