i agree that its wrong to enforce your standards - in both directions. so being forced to work just because you are a girl and educated and thats the trend "women" want is wrong also...but people tend to express their opinion on any topic and i think thats fine. if jackies mom made her have an arranged marriage today without her knowing i think thats wrong but her suggesting that she thinks that is how it should be, i dont think thats necessarily wrong...it might not be what she wants to hear but everyone is entitled to an opinon.

i think you could do both really well :) but i think that soccer game or board meeting you give up in the trade off between career and home is a decision you are making to put one or the other first in that scenario. the points about parents coming home and not talking to their kids or parents smothering them - some people are just bad parenting and shouldnt have kids (jules - like metz's parents:)

i agree that it isnt correlated to the time you put in - not just in this but in everything - some people could have studied half as much as i did for level 2 and passed, i put in all i could and still didnt...

i think you just have to take a stand for what you believe in for yourself and that applies to everything not just this also...
