happy bday jessie and chike :)

im in the best mood (not really cause its jessies or chikes bday since im selfish just thought i should throw that in there!)

the malcolm gladwell talk was awesome. im so glad i went. i realized yesterday that there are so many educational/cultural opportunities in NY and I dotn take advantage of any of them. I spend way too much time working, watching movies, eating, working out...and not enough of exploring what is out here - so yesterday was my first step to changing that. hearing him talk was awesome, (he signed a book for sashank!) then i went to satyans concert which was awesome. his friends were all there and love me so it was really fun :) i hung out with them until the show and then when they are playing i am just totally mezmorized by how fast his hands fly on the tabla...

afterwards i left pretty early to go home and pack and was saying bye to him thinking i would just meet him for dinner tonight but he said he wanted to come over :) he brought his tablas all the way over just to spend the night. i definitely did not want to get out of bed this morning.

but now that im out of bed, i cant wait to get to rochester tonight!! megan i love our tradition of coming for your bday :) i hope i never have to break that tradition (well i wouldnt mind if it werent rochester...but where ever it is :))
