marriage

it seems like there's been a lof talk of marriage around me lateley. earlier this week jackie's mom told her that she should start thinking about marriage and settling down (needless to say, jackie was pissed by her mom's comment. just because her little sis is getting married at the age of 23 and after dating the guy for 2 months doesn't mean that jackie needs to get married too!). then, i read this article in the NY Times the other day.

it talks about how girls who are going to ivy-league schools are going back to accepting traditional gender roles by planning to be stay-at-home moms once they have kids. that bothered me for some reason. . .
