i'm all for skipping the hedge fund things.. they really don't tell you anything that you can't read in the WSJ or even worse just know b/c it's common sense.

i'm confused about which office you watched :) aren't the british one and the english one the same? i saw the american one which sucks b/c they tried to copy the british one so exactly but i really love the british one.

i really like tabla.. i went there for a work thing and also went there on a date a long time ago. the bread was really good but i felt the same way as you about the food.

i went to the opera last night for the first time. it was so much fun.. i was reminded a lot of the sex and the city where alexander takes carrie and she's wearing that big poofy dress and they dance in the courtyard at lincoln center. pia and i got all dressed up and then met for dinner on the upper west side at this seafood place that i now love.. the opera was a german one called ariadne auf naxos. it was really weird actually.. they started a lot of plot lines that they then never finished.. but the singing was amazing. there was one woman who had the most incredible range.. she sang notes that i didn't think human voices could sing. :)

it was really fun.
