we made tomato bisque with crab

it turned out really well . . . and then we cuddled on the couch watching a special on greece - i fell asleep in his arms and he stayed up watching the show.

basically, i was really happy with last night!

then, i got to work this morning and had to deal with more parking issues. parking angers me greatly because i think its run so horribly. they sell way more passes than they have space for so on any given day its a game to see whether you will be able to find parking. that's on top of me having to take a shuttle. oh, and the woman that works in my lot is a bitch. so, i just went down to parking and aired my complaints very calmly (amazingly calm, in fact, since i got to walk to work this morning and i spent the whole time rehearsing one liners that had a few too many bad words in them . . .) she was really nice (probably because i was so calm) and she was like you had a lot of very valid complaints and i think you need to report them to this guy and handed me the coordinator's cards who is the bitch's boss to email him. she told me it wasn't her first complaint of the morning from that lot and she'd pass them on also. so, i thanked her a lot because having someone proactively listen and say yup, you are validated here, this is what you should do really is key when you are that geared up for a fight. phew. i feel better.
