i'm officially the worst person on earth
i got two emails over the weekend wishing me a happy birthday - chirag and koo. jules - i'm hoping you remember when koo's bday is, 'cause i have no clue. (i don't really care about chirag)
my birthday weekend - friday night, i was at work until 8:30, then i came home and ate pb&j and was asleep on the couch by 11. saturday morning, i slept in, ran errands with edgar and drove to buffalo around 2. i hung out with my parents for a little while before grandparents, aunt, parents and myself all went to a steak house in buffalo. they made me sit on a saddle while they sang ("they" being the people that work at the restaurant) after dinner, we went back to my grandparent's house and walked the dogs then my parents, cindy and myself went to barnes and noble, drank tea/coffee/hot chocolate and ate cookies while reading random books. sunday morning, we all met for breakfast at tim horton's then i left for rochester. i convinced my parents that they should take me out to lunch too so we met at pf chang's and had a light lunch (which edgar got one of the kitchen managers to comp the whole meal - rupa and nush, the same guy that took off a bunch of the bill last year - he loves me :) ) then, my parent's took me to the lindt chocolate store and bought me some truffles, followed up by my mom buying me a sweater in the limited. at this point, it was after 1:00. my parents hit the road and i hit h&m. i didn't buy anything. but i was going to pick edgar up after work (he had gotten a ride that morning) and he'd get done with his shift between 3 and 4 - so i decided to just stay around the mall. so, i went to borders and read the same book i've been reading the last couple of times i've gone to book stores. he called during the climax. i finished reading the exciting parts, but i'm still 3 pages away from the end.
his mom made me dinner - i wanted him to make it, but he had a good point that getting out of work at 4 didn't really allow him much time to make dinner. it was delicious - although i'm pretty sure totally unhealthy. there was yucca, black beans and rice, and meat stuffed with more meat. then we both realized we were dead tired (dollop had slept on the bed with me the night before, which meant she got off and on the bed - and me - every two hours or so) so we rented a movie - which we never watched. sat on the couch and watch simpson's, american dad and fell asleep a couple of minutes into family guy - which was the show we had the tv on to watch. i was in bed by 10pm.
of course, i was at work by 8am - which included walking the dog and hitting up starbucks with the gift card gen and courtney gave me. i might have been a little ambitious about the coffee though. i had had a caramel machiatto on saturday and decided that it could be my new fav. so that's what i got this morning, with an extra shot of espresso. i have gotten the extra shot with mochas before and found it delicious, but i don't think the caramel machiatto has enough sweetness to even out the extra shot . . . oh well, i'm still going to drink it and love it :)
that was long winded and i need to get some work done before my (supposed) meeting with eun at 9am . . .
