my date with alpha phi

danielle, christina kim and i met for coffee saturday evening at my favorite coffee shop (nush - i think i've taken you there, with all the van gogh paintings?) christina was on the phone with a friend of her's who was having a 'third life crisis' that she had to help her through. danielle was really sweet. i don't think there was anything of much interest to share in terms of actual details . . . phil and katie hoffman got married - but that's not shocking. rita jou is applying to vet schools - that almost made me start crying on the spot. i didn't share that though. danielle left a little early to go play DD for her friends, christina and i stayed and chatted and that eventually led to me talking about applying to vet school. i just hate the idea of telling too many people and then getting rejected and having to explain that. and rita applying as a NY state resident does not help. edgar told me he knew people if i wanted her taken care of. why is she the better version of me? she even has a jack russell! i bet you her dog is better behaved than mine. i kind of want to cry again.

umm . . . is rupa still in the states? is she dying? (i say she because i know SHE isn't going to read this and reply) i'm so confused about that.
