Nasik Holiday Home :

Home Away from Home

KSA Holiday Home at Nashik was built in 1968, for the purpose of providing clean and inexpensive accommodation to middle class families. Four units were built, each consisting of one room, kitchen, a balcony & toilet block. All domestic appliances including utensils and cooking gas are provided in these units, to enable

families to spend their vacation in a homely atmosphere, away from home. These units can accommodate up to six persons in each unit. When the Holiday Home became increasingly popular with visitors, additional accommodation was found necessary, in the nineties.

Thus four new units were added in the adjoining open plot, which were inaugurated on 12th November 1995. These new one-room units too have all the modern amenities, including water -purifier, in each room. A small kitchenette has been provided, for those who do not wish to cook full meal, while on their vacation, but would like to prepare breakfast. The new units can accommodate smaller families of four persons, in each unit.

The new units have an added attraction of a large sit out, overlooking the landscaped garden and a children’s play-park. For children, play-park equipments like a slide, a pair of swings and a see-saw etc. , will be provided.

For the convenience of visitors, a common room, a library with newspapers, books and periodicals and a T.V. set etc., has been provided.

The response from the users of the Holiday Home indicates that the amenities provided are equivalent to those provided in a three-star hotel at much lower cost.
